1. A podcast about food, the Sporkful occasionally takes me to the intersection of economics and eating. The two perfectly came together when Pete Wells, the NY Times food critic, shared great stories about how he evaluates restaurants.

1. This Fresh Air Julia Louis Dreyfus interview had it all. Whether discussing how Veep was written, Seinfeld, or Ms. Louis-Dreyfus’s background, the show had me laughing, thinking, and riveted. It made my walk one of the best.

Driving home from NYC on Thursday afternoon, I was looking for something good on the radio and went to PRX (Sirius channel 123). The program immediately grabbed me. They were interviewing Shannon, the towel. Yes, a towel.
