I’ve been watching When Harry Met Sally and laughing out loud. Written by Nora Ephron, the film is my favorite romantic comedy. You could even use it to teach behavioral economics. But don’t. Instead, just relax and enjoy.
If you need a smile, do look at how Sally orders her chef’s salad and apple pie à la mode. As economists, we can say that she is multiplying her opportunity costs with so many decisions:
