Every once in a while, (and sometimes each day) I listen to a great podcast, enjoy an article, or see a good video that I want to share with you.
I like to think of them as my e-links:
Friday’s e-links 07/21/23
I just pulled a book off my shelf that has probably been there for 20 years. And I could not stop reading it. Chock full of quirky, strange, little-known stories, One Night Stands From American History has 269 pages of brief historic tales. They include a portrait of Lord Cornbury, “our first transvestite governor.” Also, we hear how Calvin Coolidge said he kept his health as president, “by avoiding big problems,”
One reviewer said the book was like a box of chocolates. You might nibble the stories one at a time or gobble up the entire book. A Kindle version is available.
