For so many reasons, I recommend that you watch Ken Burns’s new series on The U.S. and the Holocaust. About horrific events, policies, and decisions from individuals and governments, the programs have timeless significance. By seeing what happened 80 and 90 years ago, we can consider who to admire, who to condemn, and how and why it all relates to today. Then, of course, it leaves us with questions about where it is currently unfolding and how to prevent a recurrence.
