Friday’s e-links (6/21)

Today, thinking about women, two suggestions…

1. I loved this wonderfully clever sequence from the French cartoonist Emma. It says all we need to know about a working mother’s exhaustion.

Friday’s e-links (6/14)

1. If you want to learn firsthand about what is dividing the EU, you will enjoy (as did I) these three episodes from the NY Times Daily podcast. Focusing on France, next Italy, and then Poland, each one demonstrated how markets have angered people. Yes, they discussed much more but I kept thinking about the economic implications. 

Friday’s e-links (6/07)

Alone each of these commencement speeches was excellent. But together, the synergy is indescribable:

1. Apple CEO Tim Cook spoke at the Tulane commencement. Do take a look. It was a really good talk. Also though, I liked getting to know Tim Cook through his speech.

2. Watching Tim Cook, I remembered Steve Jobs at the Stanford graduation. Prescient and oh so insightful, he told us to “Stay hungry; stay foolish.”
