6 Facts: What We Need to Know About Tariffs
August 14, 2026Every once in a while, (and sometimes each day), I listen to a great podcast, enjoy an article, or see a good video that I want to share with you. These are my e-links.

I’ve just finished a really good video. Called Pressure, Peacock streamed it.
During the days before the June 1944 D-Day invasion, General Eisenhower had to decide if weather should delay the invasion. His problem was two disagreeing meteorologists. The video was about their clash over a monumentally crucial WW II battle. For the invasion to be successful, fair weather was crucial. With each using a different approach, one predicted fair weather; the other, stormy. Fair weather meant they could proceed while a storm would delay the invasion.
Even knowing the outcome, I was tense. The decision-making process, the “sketches” of the military leadership, and the weather facts were memorable.
Do take a look.
