Every once in a while, (and sometimes each day) I listen to a great podcast, enjoy an article, or see a good video that I want to share with you.

Whereas we have already done a Nobel Economics Prize e-link, this interview is a second possibility. Economist Steve Leavitt starts his podcast by saying to soon-to-be Nobel laureate Daron Acemoglu, “The difference between you and me, I think, is that I wrote about fun stuff that doesn’t matter and you write about important stuff that does matter…” Then he says, and “people listen to you.” Yes, most crucially Dr. Acemoglu, is so easy to hear and ponder. Explaining “Why Nations Fail,” he logically and fascinatingly connects economics, politics, and history. He takes us back to a colonial world and ahead to today. I recommend this interesting interview.
