As someone who has seen the world through a lens from NY and NJ, I appreciated a New Yorker Magazine article about Minot, North Dakota. Magnificently written, “Inside The Worst-Hit County In The Worst-Hit State In The Worst-Hit Country” described the conflicting feelings, opinions, and behavior of the people in a city devastated by the coronavirus.
