Every once in a while, (and sometimes each day), I listen to a great podcast, enjoy an article, or see a good video that I want to share with you. These are my e-links.

This week I discovered Media Cloud. While I am still figuring out how to use it productively, I was grabbed by its mission. Describing itself, Media Cloud tells us that it compiles global media. So, we can choose an event or a topic and then scan the world or a country to see how people everywhere or in a specific place responded. Also,  we can use the site to identify spikes in attention.  My experimentation started with socialism. Investigating increasing mentions of socialism in. the media, I was curious about whether there truly was an increase in attention, and what the media said. Media Cloud had some answers.
