I’ve been listening to the Audible version of The Splendid and the Vile. Masterfully written and perfectly read, the book is a “page turner” about Churchill, his government, and his family. While the story focuses on the blitz, it really is a lesson in leadership.

Friday’s e-links (8/07)
More than any other, a podcast from the NY Times Daily on female rage stuck with me far beyond the morning walk when I heard it. The best part (and most of the podcast) was an essay that Julie Whelan read on how people perceive and experience a woman’s anger.
