As a former U.S. history teacher, it was a joy to hear Ken Burns talk about our 250th birthday with MS NOW’s Nicolle Wallace. Starting with George Washington, Ken Burns reminded us that we had an amazing leadership prototype. As a military leader with immense power and a politician at the pinnacle, Washington set a standard for democratic leadership. Then through a series of captivating and inspirational stories, Ken Burns winds up with Jackie Robinson. But most crucially, everywhere, he displays how we’ve survived the worst and benefited from the best.
As our e-link, this podcast is one of the best. I recommend it enthusiastically.
