February 2026 Friday’s e-links: China’s Financial System

Every once in a while, (and sometimes each day) I listen to a great podcast, enjoy an article, or see a good video that I want to share with you. These are my e-links.

This week, I recommend a podcast from a European think tank. For a global lens that mostly relates to Europe but also everywhere, I subscribe to Bruegel.  Recently, their scholars have focused on topics that ranged from digital currencies to the EU India relationship to energy efficiency. However, my favorite was their discussion of China’s banking system. So very relevant, for now and the past, understanding China’s financial infrastructure helps us understand the basics of China’s economy. Very happily, this one podcast was one of several about China that I look forward to listening to during my daily walks.
