Again this week, Bloomberg’s Odd Lots had the podcast that most grabbed my attention. Perfectly relevant, their focus was AI. Asking if the swift rise of AI investing was a bubble, they present the variables we should consider. Those issues range from the cost of data centers to the adequacy of the Oregon grid. More broadly, looking back at past bubbles, they cite technology, real estate, and credit. Then, looking ahead, they ponder the role of government. Indeed, especially because Nvidia further elevated investor enthusiasm with this week’s earnings report, the Odd Lots podcast was ideal for expanding our understanding of its broader significance.
