My daily multi-mile walks are always more interesting when I hear a good podcast. Yesterday was one of those days. Listening to a Bloomberg Odd Lots discussion (ungated through this link) of an LA bread bakery was enlightening and interesting. During the podcast, the bakery owner described the beginning of his business, how it supplies restaurants, and what it’s like to go to work at 2:30 am. It is rather amazing that a podcast could make land, labor, and capital captivating. But Odd Lots achieved this goal.
