The Election Quiz That Tells Us Who We Support

As a teacher, I could not resist the following presidential election quiz.

The Washington Post Election Quiz

For all of us to take, The Washington Post published an election quiz (part of which I’ve copied). Each question states a policy position for which we are supposed to express our opposition or support. Then, in their answer section (which I’ve also copied), we can see if the position belonged to Vice President Harris or former President Trump.

In the following graph, the Post summarized the responses. Their conclusion was that Harris’s policies received more support. Below, each dot represents a proposal. The top ten dots for Harris included positions that ranged from gun background checks to expanding access to affordable birth control. Meanwhile, in Trump’s top ten, we would have seen eliminating taxes on Social Security income and  phasing out essential imports from China during the next four years:

Our Bottom Line: Economic Policy

My bottom line is that the more we know, the more knowledgeably we can vote.
