Friday’s e-links 6/07/24

Only at the beginning, still I would like to recommend the book I’ve been reading. The Snow Child by Eowyn Ivey describes the lives, the losses, and the hopes of a homesteading childless couple in Alaska. Its images of the wilderness, of the protagonist husband and wife, and their newfound friends are mesmerizing. However, as someone that needs a fast-moving good story to take me through a book, I am amazed that personalities and scenes of the wilderness are so compelling. Beautifully written, the book is special. I look forward to returning to The Snow Child each evening.
