Every once in a while, (and sometimes each day) I listen to a great podcast, enjoy an article, or see a good video that I want to share with you.

Not knowing the commitment I was suggesting, several months ago I recommended the Abraham Verghese book, The Covenant of Water. Since then, each night, I have listened to small parcels of the 31 hour 16 minute audio book and still have not finished it. But now, I do not want the book to end. The multi-generational saga started in 1900 with a 12-year-old girl entering an arranged marriage. It ends in 1977. Through medicine, mystery, and a compelling story, we get to know (and care about) a sequence of protagonists. Every day, I look forward to my small taste of the beautifully written narrative that introduces me to an India about which I knew little.
