Every once in a while, (and sometimes each day) I listen to a great podcast, enjoy an article, or see a good video that I want to share with you.

Among countless mediocre podcasts, historian Jon Meacham’s Reflections of History is really good. I’ve just added his new podcast to my daily sequence. (I always start with WSJ, Axios, and the BBC World Business Report.) Just five or six minutes long, it describes a past event that happened on that date. While there are many history sites that have a similar goal, Jon Meacham differentiates his description from others with the unknown, the unexpected, and what is really interesting. Yesterday’s podcast on the 19th Amendment ranged from the first two ratifying states to what Abigail Adams said about the women’s vote. Hopefully he will do more that targets economic history.
