I’ve been waiting for the 17th Maisie Dobbs book. Published last week, the book was the perfect diversion. It has professional sleuthing, a personal life, and a wartime backdrop. In fact, I am just sad to have finished it. Now I might have to wait a year for the 18th book in the series. And yes, we all need a brief break from economics.
