This week I read two articles that I would like to share. One from the Atlantic and the other, the New Yorker Magazine, both related to he same larger issues. Ostensibly about the humane treatment of elephants they also evoked thoughts about the very roots of economics. They took us to whether creating the greatest good should extend beyond people to animals.
