Fivethirtyeight is my go-to website and podcast for all sorts of data. This week, hungry for some math, I enjoyed their podcast on modeling. Listening to a modeling statistician describe how pandemic projections are created, I was fascinated.

If you want to confirm that your personality is tight or loose, do take this quiz and listen to the Hidden Brain podcast. Interesting and a bit of fun, the tight or loose concept applies to us, to where we work, and to our politics. As an analytic lens, it provides some insight and a bit of fun.

When students from the Berklee College of Music, in different places, at different times, join together for a musical “collage” of Burt Bacharach’s “What the World Needs Now Is Love,” the results are wonderful. Do take a look at a touching four minutes.
