Every once in a while, (and sometimes each day) I listen to a great podcast, enjoy an article, or see a good video that I want to share with you.
I like to think of them as my e-links:

Depending on who he is interviewing, economist Tyler Cowen’s podcast can be excellent. When he spoke with Daron Acemoglu, it was one of his best. Dr. Acemoglu is the MIT economist who co-authored Why Nations Fail and now has a new book (that he also wrote with James Robinson), The Narrow Corridor. He talks with Tyler Cowen about state institutions, liberty, and prosperity. I know that sounds dry but, connecting centuries of history, politics, economics, and geography their talk was really interesting.

For many smiles and a healthy laugh, this WSJ article is just what we all need. The topic is dogs and NYC co-op boards. Not stopping with the buyer Q & A, these building boards require a pooch interview. What prospective apartment buyers will do to calm their dogs for the crucial meeting is good for a long laugh.
When Farfel and Lilac (below) had their board interview, Lilac had a torn ligament. So she showed up on pain meds in a baby carriage. Just before the appointment, they all took a long walk to tire the two schnoodles and hopefully calm them.
