Every once in a while, (and sometimes each day) I listen to a great podcast, enjoy an article, or see a good video that I want to share with you.

By far, the best article I’ve recently read is the New Yorker’s profile of Javier Milei. If you are curious about Milei’s personality, his history, and Argentina’s economy, this article will tell you all. In addition, it provides insight about the challenge of reducing a deficit and out-of-control inflation. Also though, the journalist knows how to balance serious economics with fun. The fun side especially came across through Dr. Milei’s four dogs. Cloned from a beloved English mastiff that died in 2017, each dog has an economist’s name: Milton (Milton Friedman), Lucas (Robert Lucas) Robert (Robert Lucas), Murray (Murray Rothbard). He calls them his “four-legged children.” From these dogs to a slew of stories (some X-rated), each of us can decide if Dr. Milei is the person who should solve Argentina’s economic problems.
