Returning to the Sporkful after my multi-month absence, I was pleasantly surprised. As a food podcast, the topics only occasionally grab me. However, their Thomas Jefferson episode was excellent. As food history and the story of an enslaved African American chef, its ingredients only needed the addition of Thomas Jefferson to be a culinary coup.
