Always enjoyable, Tim Harford’s Cautionary Tales podcast on bubbles was especially relevant. The podcast took us back to the 17th century Tulipomania and a myth that has persisted for centuries. From there, Harford introduces Charles Mackay’s classic history of bubbles. At that point, he reminded us that Mackay unknowingly lived through a railway bubble. And that took me to now. Are we living through a crpto bubble? Tantalizingly, the podcast gives us some answers.
