Like me, you might have had a dauntingly busy week. So, when my family asked me to watch Encanto with them, I decided it was time for a break. More than I expected, the film was dazzling, enchanting, and inspiring. About a magical family in Colombia, for me the people and themes were universal. Together, the animation, the story, and the songs are the perfect recipe for lighthearted pleasure and deeper thought. I recommend taking the break to watch it.
