Our Weekly Economic News Roundup: From Small Packages to Big Tariffs
August 30, 2025Every once in a while, (and sometimes each day) I listen to a great podcast, enjoy an article, or see a good video that I want to share with you. These are my e-links.

Among all of the podcasts I listen to when I walk multiple miles each day, my recent favorite was on the Constitution. Comparable to last year’s 1,344 page Power Broker (that was an excellent shared read and analysis of the Robert Caro biography), the Constitution is 99% Invisible’s new series. Their first episode was the Preamble.
So yes, for almost an hour, they took me to the words, the history, and the relevance. Their law professor analyst was interesting. Indeed, it was effective to have combined a host, an academic, and a guest commentator. With anticipation, I look forward to the next episode that I expect will be on Article 1. I never thought the Constitution could become a “page turner.”
