Occasionally (like me) you might want to just look at the screen and laugh while you consider some serious issues. I got the opportunity with the new FX/Hulu sitcom, English Teacher. Having just watched the first two episodes, I am convinced that the next six will be equally funny and insightful. Of course, as a teacher, I enjoy seeing (people who could be) my colleagues and students. But also, the writers and the stars, and indeed everyone convey a school environment. So, although it is unlike any we all see, still there is enough that is familiar. For so many reasons, I look forward to six more episodes and recommend English Teacher to you:
