Every once in a while, (and sometimes each day) I listen to a great podcast, enjoy an article, or see a good video that I want to share with you.
I like to think of them as my e-links.

Because of the money involved, this Evan Osnos New Yorker magazine article was a real gobsmacker. Called “In the Land of Make Believe,” indeed it was. A page turner, it described the rise and fall of Zach Horwitz. His ascent was based on a litany of fake investments verified by bogus letters from people like the founder of Starbucks, Howard Schultz. Through these letters and false investment opportunities for family, friends, and clients, in just one year, he raised 350 million dollars. Much longer than one year, though, the scheme unfolds step by step in the article. You will wonder, as did I, why we believe these people. It was a fascinating Ponzi scheme.
